I IMPLORE YOU TO LET YOUR MIND, BODY, SOUL, AND SPIRIT DRIFT TOWARD THAT WHICH IS GOOD. LOOK DEEP WITHIN YOURSELF, REFLECT UPON YOUR CHARACTER, AND RESOLVE TO BECOME AN EVEN BETTER PERSON STARTING NOW.

I PRAY THAT THE SONG’S MESSAGE WILL RESONATE WITHIN EVERY HEART THAT HEARS IT, THAT YOU WILL ALLOW LOVE TO FLOW FLUENTLY AND ABUNDANTLY THROUGH YOU, AND THAT OUR CONSCIENCES BE AWAKEN TO THE TRUE POWER OF LOVE, UNITY, AND THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE. WE’VE GOT TO COME TOGETHER AS ONE!

I FOUND MYSELF NEEDING YOU

This particular song has a backstory – as do many of them. The music (not written by me) still speaks to my very Soul each time I hear it. The original song title “The Hymn” (written by Jazz Pianist Terry Disley) is so appropriate as to how it stirs in my Spirit. I love all of Mr. Disley’s music. I have been following him for some years now! He played “The Hymn” at the Zoom Mini Concert I held in February 2021. Afterwards, I told him I was going to ask The Holy Spirit for lyrics to that song. Praise God, he welcomed me to do so. I was inspired on Tuesday, July 20,2021 at 1:03 p.m. Mr. Disley (“The Count” as I affectionately refer to him as) loves my addition to his music! He was kind enough to contract directly with me for the use of “The Hymn”.  He has become a real cheerleader throughout the production journey of this song.

The lyrics in “I Found Myself Needing You” is a song to either make us or keep us mindful of our limitations. It is truly to serve as a staunch reminder to keep The Lord God front & center in our daily living—in His Rightful Place, on “The Throne of our Hearts”.

THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER DAY LORD

These are lyrics exclusively written by me to the melody of Mr. Bill Withers and Skip Scarborough’s "Lovely Day".

As a little girl, I would say my prayers at night: Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray The Lord my Soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray The Lord my Soul to take. God Bless Momma, Daddy and everybody. And Thank You for another day, Lord.

As I graduated in prayer, I continued to end them with, “And Thank You for another day, Lord.” after “Lovely Day” WAS RELEASED IN 1977, I LISTENED TO THE SONG for twenty-nine years. THAT WAS WHEN I asked The Holy Spirit to Inspire me with lyrics to put to the melody of “Lovely Day”.

WOW, Hallelujah! Sixteen years in the waiting—but all in God's time!!! Unfortunately, I had to rebuild my song track from scratch listening to my original demo cassette tape which included my copyrighted lyrics written on May 9, 2006. I love the outcome of this arrangement engineered and produced by Tim J. Abbott and Josh Zuckermann of Kingdom Voice Productions.

Please let others know it’s available on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other streaming and listening platforms.
